Art Deco Silver Salad Forks, Set of 6 Community Plate Hampton Court Silver Plate Salad Forks, Replacement Silver Plate Flatware

$25.50

Sorry, this item has sold.

Set of 6 silver plate place salad forks. The pattern for the Art Deco salad forks is Hampton Court by Community Plate. The pattern was introduced in 1926 and I believe the forks are from the late 20's to 30's. They are marked Community Plate which means they are older. Community Plate was part of the silver and flatware production by the Oneida Community located in New York.
The Community started production of silver-plated flatware and hollow-ware in 1899 using the "Community Plate" mark.
In 1929 Oneida purchased the Wm. A. Rogers and 1881 Rogers company and continued to use the name of those companies marks. In 1935, Oneida Community changed its name to Oneida Ltd.
The forks are in lovely condition with no loss of silver. The pattern is an elegant Art Deco pattern with a draping wreath.
* I do have some other pieces of flatware in this pattern in separate listings. If you are interested in purchasing more than one listing please send a request for a savings and combined shipping.
