Ashworth Rim Soup Bowls, Antique Ashworth Hanley Pattern B 9601 Soup Plate, Floral Trim Embossed Edge Mustard Scalloped Rim, 9 Available

Antique Ashworth Hanley large rim soup bowls or soup plates. The pattern number is B 9601 and it features a rust colored flower with pale green and deep cobalt blue vines and scrolls. The scalloped rim is an embossed relief pattern with a mustard colored trim. There is also a light pattern on the side of the inside bowl.
I actually have 7 bowls marked Ashworth Hanley and two marked Mason's. The pattern is the same. Each bowl is being sold separately. There are no chips or cracks in the bowls. There are a couple of bowls where the mustard paint has worn off but it is not a chip. I think the bowls are in lovely condition considering they are approximately 140 years old.
The Ashworth Hanley bowls are marked B 9601 with an impressed number and letter.
The bowls date between 1880 and before 1891. In 1891 the word England began appearing on the hallmark. These bowls do not have the word England. Also the orange colored B and numbers were first used beginning 1872. In 1900 a C script was used with the pattern number.
The bowls are so lovely and the colors would compliment an Asian or chinoiserie decor. They are perfect for soup, a large salad or pasta.
