Flow Blue Dinner Plate, Johnson Brothers Georgia Pattern, Scalloped with Raised Relief Design and Gold Highlights, Blue White China

Sorry, this item has sold.

Beautiful flow blue dinner plate by Johnson Brothers. The pattern is Georgia and was introduced in the early 1900's through 1920's. The plate has the Johnson Brothers hallmark with the pattern name above the crown. There is also a number 26 with the letter B on the back. The number 26 may represent the year the plate was made.
The semi porcelain plate has a deep cobalt blue design with a raised relief pattern around the rim. There are highlights of gold in the blue design. The gold was also along the rim of the plate but much of the gold rim has worn off. There is a small nick or tiny chip on the edge of the plate which I have tried to show in photo 3. I am pricing the plate accordingly.
Johnson Brothers made both the dinner plate and luncheon plate in the Georgia pattern. The dinner plate was 10 1/8 inch and the luncheon plate was 9 inches. This is a dinner plate measuring 10 1/8 inch in diameter.
It is a lovely plate and would be a wonderful addition to a collection of blue and white china or flow blue china.
