Homer Laughlin Eggshell Georgian bread and butter plates. A lovely set of five Eggshell Georgian Chateau blue small dessert plates. The plates are a cream or eggshell color with a soft robin eggs blue accent and a gold rim and a draping gold design around the inside of the blue. The center floral medallion is a bouquet of flowers with a rose being predominate.
One plate has a little of the rose image that has worn off ( photo 6 ). Other than the one plate with a little loss of the rose image, the plates are in lovely condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The gold is also in nice condition with very minor loss. Priced Accordingly.
The back of the plates have the letters and numbers L 46 N 5.
The plates could be used as a bread and butter plate or a dessert plate because they measure 6.25 inches in diameter.
Photo size displays the plate with a gold rimmed salad under plate and I think it looks great.
The five plates would also make a lovely wall accent.
