Austrian porcelain butter pats. A set of 8 M K Austrian porcelain butter pats dating from late 1800's - 1909. The butter pats are a white scalloped porcelain with tiny pink flowers and a light mint green foliage. The rims did have a gold trim but some of the gold has worn off.
All of the butter pats are in very nice condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. As mentioned some of the gold has worn off around the rim and there is one pat that has a tiny pinpoint dark spot that is shown in photo 3.
The little butter pats would also make wonderful little dipping bowls if desired.
The maker's mark or hallmark M K with the two headed eagle and Austria was used from 1884 -1909 by the factory owned by Moritz Zdekauer Bank. After 1909 the factory was purchased by C.M. Hutschenreuther and was in operation until 1945.
