Vintage Pieced Quilt, Handmade Multicolor Pieced Quilt, 59 x 76 Inches, Cottage Farmhouse Decor, Country Primitive Decor

Beautiful handmade quilt. The vintage pieced quilt is made of small vintage pieces of fabric with flowers, stripes and plaids. The back is a heavy cream muslin or feedsack type material. It is in lovely condition with no stains or defects that I can find. I am not sure of the name of the pattern, but each square has a center medallion with 8 pieces that is similar to a flower. The larger square is actually composed of 4 smaller squares with two pieces that look like arrows.
It is pieced with small stitches approximately 5 stitches per inch.
I believe the top was made earlier than the actual quilting that is why I dated the piece in the 60's. I believe the quilt top is actually older probably 40's.
The quilt is filled with a thin batting so it is not a heavy quilt and would be a good weight that can be hung on a wall for display.
