Vintage signed watercolor by Bill Hill 1978. At the time of the painting Bill Hill was an Alabama artist. I do not know if he is still in Alabama or if he is alive. It is a landscape scene of a barn in the distant background with soft trees.
The painting is framed in a simple wooden frame and I believe it is original to the painting. It is double matted with a dark brown inner mat and a lighter brown outside mat.
The earth tone colors in the painting are typical of the earth tone color scheme of home decor in the 70's. Watercolor paintings were also very popular in the 70's - 80's due to the popularity of watercolor artists such as Wyeth.
