Silver Plate Water Pitcher, Silver over Copper Water Pitcher with Ice Lip, Mid Century 1950's Footed Water Pitcher, French Country Vase

Silver plate water pitcher with an ice lip. The mid century silver plate pitcher is actually silver over copper as noted on the bottom of the pitcher. The silver is in lovely condition with no loss or defects.
The footed pitcher has an elegant shape with feet that appear to be shaped like an acanthus leaf that scrolls down and rolls out to a padded shaped foot. The opening of the pitcher has a scalloped appearance with definite points around the top.
There is an inscription on the bottom of the pitcher with the date 1950. Please see photo 5.
It is a lovely pitcher and would be perfect for serving at teas or parties but also would make a beautiful vase for a flower arrangement.
