Antique oval wood frame with convex glass. The Victorian frame has a plaster coating over wood with the original old gold paint which has darkened. It is more of an antique gold. There are four large rosettes, one on each side of the frame. The convex or bubble glass is in good condition. The frame is in good condition especially for the age. There are a few places where the plaster has cracked but has not popped off and a few places where the plaster on the side has flaked off some but is still there. There are a couple places where the rosette was repaired. Please see photo 7 and 8. A gold paint has covered it so it was a long time ago.
This type of frame is perfect for an old portrait, child's photo, or even some type of needlework.
