Antique Booths Cheswick pattern covered vegetable dish. The flow blue covered vegetable is a late Victorian English semi porcelain covered serving bowl with handles, embossed edge and floral rim. The blue flowers are in a draping pattern along the body of the tureen or vegetable dish and along the top of the lid.
The hallmark or maker's mark Booths in in blue with a crown and the pattern name on the underside of the bowl.
The covered vegetable is in lovely condition for the age. It does not have any chips or crazing. There appears to be a few little flea bites along the rim of the lid, but they are not really noticeable. If you look in photo 6 opposite the handle you can see a fine line on the rim of the bowl. It appears to be a tiny hairline but it is very faint and does not take away from the function of the bowl.
It is a beautiful bowl, perfect for a blue and white collection.
