Indies Blue dinner plate. Johnson Brothers Indies Blue dinner plate. I have 10 plates, five of which have a green back stamp and measure 9 5/8 inches in diameter. The other five plates have a black back stamp with the pattern name, Indies, Made in England Johnson Brothers. Those five plates measure 9.75 inches.
The plates with the green back stamp are free of chips, cracks and crazing.
The five plates with the black back stamp have some light crazing and one has a small chip on the underside. I am pricing them accordingly.
