The company was founded in the late 19th century and was known for the production of decorative woodwork that had the appearance of high end carving. The shelves are actually made of a wood pulp and resin. The shelves have an elegant leaf design that flows upward to the actual shelf. The small shelf has a groove will hold a small decorative plate. If you did not want to display a plate you could put a small figurine.
Both shelves are in lovely condition with no damage.
