An antique carved frame with the print The Lone Wolf chromolithograph. The frame has some gold leafing that has aged over the years. I think it was used for another painting at one time, because it has two small tacks that once held a painting name tag.
The print is The Lone Wolf by Victor Kowalski. It is a chromolithograph print. It does appear to have been cut down to fit the frame, but is still a nice image. It has darkened over the years.
I am actually pricing the listing for the frame, because it is a nice frame with old glass.
It would look great being used to frame a watercolor or etching.
