A wonderful watercolor and gouache painting or sketch of a Victorian lady dressed in blue.
The painting or sketch is a bust portrait and is signed M. Naugle ( if I can read the letters correctly).
It appears to be watercolor on paper with some gouache used to highlight the shawl and flowers.
It is framed in a simple wooden frame that has a gold finish.
The little portrait appears to have been painted on a paper and it has a cardboard backing. The color of the paper may have been white but has aged over the years. It is still a charming portrait.
