A vintage silver plate photo frame with a black mat. The frame has a flocked black velveteen backing with an attached easel stand.
The pattern is a woven look similar to a basket weaving. Someone has had a black mat cut to fit the frame for a 2.5 x 3.5 image photo. The mat can be removed and a photo with an image of 3.5 x 5.5 may be inserted. The silver plate appears to be lacquered.
If you do not use the mat you may use the frame either vertically or horizontally.
Frames make wonderful gifts with a keepsake photo for a baby gift, wedding bridal gift or even Christmas gift.
