Custom Listing Hillary, Antique Ashworth Covered Vegetable Tureen,5 Bowls,2 Salad plates, 1800's English Polychrome Transferware

A beautiful antique English covered vegetable tureen. The tureen is by Ashworth Brothers and the pattern is Chusan from the mid 1800's. It is a colored willow polychrome transferware with the love birds, bridge, house and willow trees. The predominant colors are a cinnabar or rust with a dark green trim and a few touches of light pink over a very dark blue or black transferware . I believe it is more blue because you can see faints of blue through the white background. The rim is a gold or mustard color. The tureen is scalloped with the inside of the bowl having the willow image and the top of the tureen with the image.
The bottom of the tureen has the maker's mark with the Ashworth Brothers Hanley mark with a crown and ribbon. There is also number in red and the number 12 with letter M. I love the tiny little dark blue flowers on the handles and handle on the lid.
The bowl is in wonderful condition considering the age, free of chips, cracks and crazing that I can tell. Some of the mustard yellow color along the rim has rubbed off through the years in a few small spots.
Included is 5 rim soup bowls, 2 salad plates.
