Mid Century brass and faux abalone shell photo frame. The picture frame holds a 4 x 6 photo and measures overall 5 x 7 inches
It is a decorative brass plated mid century frame with leaf corners and a floral etched design on the sides. The frame has a small beaded design around the rim and next to the glass. The inner section has an applied faux abalone or shell inset.
The frame has a flip out easel backing of a burgundy flocked velveteen material. It also has a small hook making the frame able to hang on a wall if desired. The way the frame is designed it may be used either horizontally or vertically if sitting on a table. If you hang the frame it would need to be used vertically. It is a mid 50's or 60's frame.
The gold color and white shell design would make it a nice frame for a wedding photo.
* Please note that old frames may have small nicks in the edge of the glass insert due to having been taken in and out over the years.
