Ebony and sterling silver clothes brush. The brush is a dark ebony with a sterling silver monogrammed medallion. The monogram appears to be a script S. The bristles on the brush are in great condition. The brush is marked Real Ebony, warranted Solid Back and on the opposite side it is marked Japan. The brush appears to be mid century from the latter part of 1940 through the 50's.
It is a very nice brush and would be a lovely accent for a dressing table and a special gift for someone whether a gentleman or lady.
