Italian Majolica Bird in Nest, Small Covered Decorative Dove in Nest Bowl, Signed Bassano Small Majolica Nesting Bird, Collectible Pottery

Beautiful Italian Majolica nesting bird. The little covered bowl or container is a small dove or bird sitting on a nest. The top portion is the bird and the bottom is the bowl. The piece is signed C.P.D./20 Italy which implies the number made.
It also has 2 impressed incised hallmarks. One is the word Bassano with an incised sign below the word and another is an impressed emblem above the name Bassano.
The little collectible Majolica bowl is a perfect decorative piece that can also hold small items such as paper clips or even small pieces of jewelry.
It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks or any other defects that I can find.
I think it would be a lovely Mother's Day gift for someone who collects Majolica, loves birds or decorates with a French country or cottage farmhouse flair.
