Beautiful Towle tray. The vintage silver plate tray is footed with handles and a raised relief design around the rim and handles. The center part of the tray has a chased scroll design. The underside of the tray does have a Towle mark but it also has an appreciation inscription to someone. Having an inscription on the underside does not bother me because it cannot be seen.
It is really a beautiful tray and I love the size. It is a more narrow rectangle tray, but still large enough for a carafe and wine glasses.
It would also be a beautiful tray for a dresser.
The tray is in lovely condition with no loss of silver and it does polish up nicely.
