Tea Silver Service set by Poole Silver Company. The mid century silver plate set includes a silver plate teapot, creamer and open sugar. I am including a silver plate handled tray that I have. The tray has a scalloped rim with a chased scroll design. It does not have a maker's mark that I can find. It also has at some point had the feet removed and on the underside there is felt to protect a table. I have actually used the tray for sometime as a coffee tray. It polishes up nicely and I thought it would go well the the Poole silver service set.
The teapot, creamer and sugar are all marked Poole, Taunton Ma. The sugar as mentioned is an open sugar. From the rim around the top it was made to be an open sugar rather than one with a lid.
The teapot, creamer and sugar all polish up beautifully. There is minor wear actually only on the inside where some of the silver has worn from use, but it will not affect the set or use. Please see the photos I have included.
