Walnut Glass Box, Trinket Jewelry Box, Lift Top One Drawer, Patriotic Red Blue White Petit Point Image, Country Farmhouse,

A walnut trinket or jewelry box with a glass top. The vintage wooden box has a hinged lift up top which is glass and one storage drawer with a brass knob.
Under the glass top is a Patriotic petit point design of a red white and blue house. When I purchased the box the small petit point design was actually laying inside on the top over a muslin cover. I actually secured the piece inside the box. I think the previous owner embroidered the piece to go inside but had not secured it yet.
The box is walnut except the underside which appears to be a plywood or masonite.
I think it is a charming box and would make a great gift for a little storage box for a farmhouse or patriotic decor and a nice storage box for a small jewelry.
