Asian style elephant bookends. The vintage bookends appear to be a resin material that was molded and painted. The base on which the elephant stand is black with gold highlights. The elephants are an umber or amber color with glaze. The pair of bookends are in lovely condition with no missing parts or chips.
The decorative bookends would be a wonderful accent for a library and would compliment several different decor styles from Asian or Chinoiserie to a modern Deco style.
