Vintage infant day gown. The white cotton batiste day gown or robe has small white tatting around the collar and going down the front of the opening as well as around the sleeves. This is a handmade day gown probably from the 60's. It did come from an estate. It does not have any button, but may have been designed to have buttons but never finished. It is has slight gathering along the front of the collar and the back of the nape of the neck. It is inn lovely condition with no stains or defects.
As well as being for a newborn, the beautiful little gown would also be perfect for a doll, if you collect dolls and doll clothing.
