Bronze Sculpture Mask, Vintage Mask Sculpture, Signed Tonney, Marble Stand, Art Gift, Sculpture Gift,

An interesting bronze sculpture of half of a face or mask. The mask is set into a rough stone like bronze that has the appearance of a rock. The piece sits on a black and white granite or marble base. The back of the sculpture does have a name Tonney. I have not been able to find anything about the artist. I have actually owned the piece for a few years and it was an estate find.
It is an unusual piece and reminds me of Carnival time in Venice or South America. I once visited a mask maker in Florence and was intrigued by his amazing masks. This sculpture reminded me of his masks and that sparked my interest in it.
