Blue white cups and saucers. A set of three antique English blue and white demitasse cups and saucers. The three sets were made by John Maddock and Sons in the late 1800's. The hallmark on the back of the saucers actually date the sets between 1880 - 1896.
The three cups and saucers do have some vintage wear. The all have crazing and one saucer has a couple of dark spots on the bottom of the saucer. A second saucer has some of the porcelain that has chipped off due to the crazing and has discoloration. The third saucer only has crazing.
Two of the tiny cups do have a very small line or crack. I am pricing the three accordingly. The little cups did have gold along the rim and the handle at one time but has worn off over the years.
I think the three cups and saucers are really charming and would be perfect for a DIY project.
