Towle Silver bowl. A vintage Towle silver plate bowl with handles. The bowl has a pierced reticulated design with scroll shaped handles. It actually measures 13 inches from handle to handle and 10.5 inches in diameter for the actual opening.
I think the bowl may have been part of a silver plate casserole container at one time.
It is a great size for rolls or fruit. I think it would even be a beautiful accent bowl as a container for a plant or floral arrangement.
The outside of the bowl is free of any silver loss. There are a couple of small spots on the inside where the silver has worn a little. Please see the photo 4. Priced accordingly.
