Danish Princess ice teaspoons. A set of 7 silver plate ice teaspoons by Holmes and Edwards and International Silver. The late Art Deco pattern, Danish Princess was introduced in 1938. All seven spoons are in very nice condition with no loss of silver and only minor wear commensurate with age and use such as minor scuffs.
Ice teaspoons are more versatile than many realize. Besides tea, they are a perfect spoon for ice cream sundaes and I have also had customers purchase them for chocolate spoons.
The pattern features a band with small dots and raised acanthus shaped design or fan design on the tip of the spoon. There is also a similar sterling silver flatware pattern by International Silver. I think the flatware can be used casually or in a more formal setting.
