Antique carving set with silver plate handles. The three piece set includes the meat carving knife and fork with the sharpening steel rod. The three pieces have beautiful silver plate handles with a scrolled and curved pattern. Each piece has a hallmark NS SK Co. I am not sure of the company. I first thought it was National Silver Company but could not find the SK part of the hallmark.
The handles are in nice condition with minor wear commensurate with age and use. However the fork and blade have wear. There is pitting on the blade or tines of the fork and the tip of the knife has some wear. The set is usable but I do want to point out the wear.
If someone wanted to use the handles to repurpose the set or make a new set this would be a nice set since there are three pieces with handles that match. I am pricing the set accordingly.
