Linen Crewel Table Topper, Vintage Ecru Linen with Handmade Crochet Lace and Floral Crewel Needlework, 31 x 31 Inches, French Country

Beautiful ecru linen table topper with crewel embroidery. The tablecloth is approximately 31 x 31 inches. It has a handmade crochet lace insert and hem. The center panel has a cream crewel embroidered design of leaves and I cannot quite tell the design of the middle pattern. I am not sure if it is an initial or an Asian design. I think the fabric was at one time part of bedding because the back of the tablecloth has one strip that has button holes, something you might see on an antique pillow sham. This however is not a sham. Someone probably repurposed the fabric and made the square table topper.
I think it would also be a beautiful table centerpiece on a larger table.
It is in lovely condition. I did see a very light light spot on a little of the crochet lace, but hesitate to try to do anything to remove it. It is hard to see and I do not think it would be noticeable
It is a gorgeous table linen perfect for any home.
