Antique carved bookends. The dark wood bookends are hand carved from Germany. They appear to be two types of wood. The floral pattern appears to be walnut and I am not sure what wood was used for the bottom of the bookends. The bookends have a hand written note on the bottom taped to them noting the provenance. They are from an estate and most of the items I purchased from the estate was from the 20's and 30's.
The bookends are in very nice condition for the age. Some of the stain has worn a little and there is a tiny nick on one petal but it is very small and difficult to notice.
