Gorham La Scala sterling silver flatware. This listing is for 6 place settings of La Scala Gorham sterling silver flatware. The five piece place settings include a dinner knife, dinner fork, salad fork, teaspoon, and cream soup spoon. It is a lovely starter set or a nice set to complete a set. The knives have a stainless blade and modern hollow sterling handle.
The flatware was introduced by Gorham in 1964 and I believe this set is probably from that period. The Gorham cutlery box is definitely from that period.
The pattern is a beautiful flatware pattern with a scalloped tip and a floral and scroll edge. It has a pierced handle and a lovely rose motif design. It was actually inspired by the famous Italian Opera House.
It is a nice heavy weight.
