Silver Footed Casserole, Vintage Round Silver Plate Covered Vegetable Dish with, Clear Pyrex Casserole Bowl, Footed Flower Container

Silver footed covered casserole dish. Beautiful vintage silver plate covered vegetable or casserole dish. The mid century silver plate round container is footed with a heavy chased scroll design on the lid. There is a round pyrex 1.5 quart clear bakeware insert that has small handles. I am not sure if it is original to the piece but it fits into the silver plate base.
When the pyrex dish is not inside the container the top fits flush onto the bottom. When the dish is inside due to the handles the top does not quite fit flush. I am sure it is because of the handles on the pyrex dish. Please look at all the photos especially photo 7 which shows the item with the pyrex dish inside the silver container.
The silver plate is in very nice condition. There is a small spot I see is inside the bowl and it appears the piece is silver over copper and a tiny one on the rim. Please look at photo 8.
The piece is quite heavy for the size as noted I believe it is silver over copper. There is a small sticker on the bottom but it is worn and I cannot make out the maker of the item. I think it is probably either Towle or International Silver Company.
