Haviland footed compote. Beautiful Haviland Limoges pedestal compote. The French porcelain footed cake stand is scalloped around the rim and along the base. It has delicate hand painted floral design with a soft lavender flower and sage green foliage.
The scalloped rim is gold around the top and base with a raised beaded design with handpainted light green flowing foliage.
The base also has the hand painted design.
The back mark is Haviland France in green with the number 14930 above in red. Below the word France, in red is Haviland & Co, for C. Jenner & Co. Edinburgh, Made in France ( all in red). I think the piece probably dates to the 1920's. It is in lovely condition for the age and use. The gold is not really worn and I can only see or feel a tiny, tiny nick on the rim. It is hard to see and also rather hard to detect. It is still very functional and beautiful. ( Priced Accordingly).
