Set of 6 silver plate teaspoons. The pattern, Adam, was introduced in 1917 by Community Plate.
All six teaspoons are in lovely condition with no loss of silver and only minor wear commensurate with age and use. They all polish beautifully. The dark shadows in the photos are reflections from chandelier and my phone.
I love having different patterns of antique flatware when having parties or special gatherings. It is always nice to have extra spoons.
This pattern has simple yet elegant lines similar to the neoclassical lines of the early furniture designs by the Adam brothers, even though the flatware was introduced a little over a century later. The designer of the Adam flatware was Grosvenor N. Allen, who designed several patterns for Community Plate.
